Donald Trump will soon no longer be POTUS and nothing he does in the interim is likely to change the impact on his diehard supporters of the effects of climate change and income stagnation. After he's gone the earth's climate and our environment will still be changing radically and we will have to continue to deal with the effects on our daily lives. Denial is always a lame way to deal with reality.

So too will the economy skew if the wealthy continue to choke growth by squeezing control of incomes. Simply put the top 1% can't possibly spend the money they hoard as fast and efficiently as the rest of us can. In plain terms, if you're not going to use that we'll do it for you. The idea that churning trillions of dollars over and over in Wall Street deals is somehow an efficient use of the nation's wealth is insane. Let the folks who'll really build things and buy stuff use it.
